A Different Approach to Finding What Works

Many of our patients come to us frustrated after trying multiple medications without meaningful relief. Some are hesitant to try something new; others are wary of retrying a medication that didn’t help in the past but might now be the right fit given a more complete picture of their symptoms.

Every patient responds differently to medication, and every psychiatric medication works differently in the body. That’s why we don’t default to a standard protocol, together, we build a medication management plan around your specific diagnosis, history, and goals, aiming for the right medication and dosage with as few medications as possible.

Burnout vs. Depression: How to Tell the Difference—and Why It Matters

How often will I need appointments?

Follow-up frequency depends on your treatment plan, medication, and how you're responding, your provider will recommend a schedule and adjust it as needed.

What if a medication isn't working for me?

That's a normal part of the process. We'll reassess and adjust your treatment plan together, which may mean a dosage change, a different medication, or additional evaluation.

Do you prescribe controlled substances, like stimulant medication for ADHD?

In many cases, yes, subject to state and federal telehealth prescribing regulations, which we'll walk you through if they apply to your treatment plan.

Do I need to be located in one of your four states for every appointment?

Yes, you'll need to be physically located in Oregon, Washington, California, or Florida at the time of each telehealth appointment, consistent with state licensing requirements.
